According to Lenovo the Boot flash drive should appear under EFI Boot Devices sub menu where you can select it to start the installation.but it is not there. Only under the Novu menu two references are made to USB and Boot. perhaps its named something else? Its very basic. This BIOS (or UEFI?) does not have a Legacy BIOS feature. Unfortunately this notebook does not have PS2 port. Oops! Don't know what happened here.sorry! MS= Microsoft account nothing there. My problem now is the keyboard gets disabled as soon as the installation from the boot drive starts.when I power up the keyboard indicator lights up and stays on till the installation starts. Was not so clever not to save it somewhere else as well. I have looked everywhere for my BL key.not in MS accounts. I have created the USB drive with the latest MCT on a 16GB flash drive.
At least that's how its worked for me with my Gigabyte boards. I simply chose UEFI install from the USB drive and it works without issue.
